#118547 - 12/31/03 11:58 AM Mona Lisa
Philip goes with a fellow art student to see the Mona Lisa.
The other student mentions Walter Pater's essay on Mona Lisa. How wonderult is the Internet, which makes it possible for me in just a few seconds to read what Pater said. Sad to say, I think the essay in bullshit. My impression of Mona Lisa is that she is mildly amused by
DaVinci, because she senses, if she doesn't actually know
that he is "not straight". I am woefully ignorant of art.
