A couple quick ones (the first one is so quick that I ask you not post a response so as not to ruin it); the others are a little slower:
1) What is the only other word that can be made from the letters in INSATIABLE? (No fair checking the anagram server [and no help, either!]) 2) What is the longest word that can be made strictly from letters on the middle row of the (QWERTY) keyboard? [A few possible answers, here.] 3) One six-letter word contains five pronouns in it (in order) - what is it?
As always, if you know the answer in advance, no fair responding!
Good luck.
Jon

Well, I'm stumped. Got out my Scrabble tiles, cannot come up w/ the anagram. I did find a few possibilities, but I don't think any of them are real words. Re: #3--are you sure you worded that question right? (She said, ungrammatically.) Is the answer an English word? I can't think of any other pronouns besides I, you, he, she, it, we,you, they, and me, you, him, her, it , us, you, them. Perhaps one of the brain cells I've lost knew the answer, but I can't see it for the life of me! Please send private if you don't want the answer posted yet. I'm on tenterhooks, and they're pretty uncomfortable! Thanks!

Note: This was one of the earliest threads--though not a long one--in the brief history of Wordplay and Fun.
Were these questions ever answered on a later thread?
Curious, WW

Not that I ever saw ... and I'd just about stopped being frustrated by the thread and here it is again...

Good Lord... Jackie was once a newbie? I thought she just sprang from Anu's forehead as a full-grown Pooh-Bah. The answer I've heard for #2 is typewriter, although the parenthetical comment makes me wonder what else others have come up with. As for pronouns, that will keep me thinking all weekend... remember my, our, their, his, hers, its, who, what & which are all pronouns too! (plus more I'm sure I've forgotten to mention...)

The word below doesn't meet the requirements of the pronoun word task, but I show it here for amusement:
Hershey:
He Her Hers She He
It's a seven-letter word, but it does have five pronouns.
The requirement of that six-letter word having five pronouns "in order" is a little confusing... What does "in order" mean here?

Oh, ok. I just figured out the "order" bit.
Consider the six-letter word theirs.
It contains eleven pronouns, but not necessarily in order:
their theirs he I his (if you disregard the ordering of the letters) this (again, if you disregard the ordering of the letters) she (ditto) her (ditto) hers (ditto) it (ditto) its (ditto)
...so, back to the drawing board.
