in my grade school were some very inexpensive but well chosen
monochrome prints by famous artists. I still remember them.
One was the Millet "Angelus" the farmer and his wife
stopping their work in huge garden, to pray,
in response to bells of
cathedral in the distance.

?Angelus Domini?6 R.C.Ch.
1a prayer said at morning, noon, and evening in commemoration of the Incarnation
2the bell rung to announce the time for this prayer
