I have read of "mellifluous" having an undesirable manifestation. The sppearance of a
celing dripping with honey because of bees establishing colony in space between
interior and exterior walls. The solution was to find bee entrance, block it with device
that allowed bees to exit, but prevent their re-entering. The colony would then use
up all the honey before they died.

Since "diabetes" means an increase in amount of urine flow, bees are in no
danger, because they do not urinate. Reminds me of lecture in bacteriology,
when test for syphilis was being discussed, and one of the of the
ingredients of the Wasserman reagentwas "alcoholic extract of beef heart".
One smartass had moxie to ask the prof: "How do you get the bees to fart?"

Dear WW: for a guess, only the vertebrates have kidneys and bladders. Except fishes, I guess.

Of course, you have heard the window washer's lament: "There never was,
and there never will be. There never was, and there never will be......"

A constipated fly.

Since "diabetes" means an increase in amount of urine flow

This intrigued me. The things you learn here.

A bit more detail:

Middle English diabete, from Medieval Latin diabētēs, from Latin, from Greek, siphon, diabetes, from diabainein, to cross over, straddle : dia-, dia- + bainein, to go.

Diabetes is named for one of its distressing symptoms. The disease was known to the Greeks as diabētēs, a word derived from the verb diabainein, made up of the prefix dia–, “across, apart,” and the word bainein, “to walk, stand.” The verb diabeinein meant “to stride, walk, or stand with legs asunder”; hence, its derivative diabētēs meant “one that straddles,” or specifically “a compass, siphon.” The sense “siphon” gave rise to the use of diabētēs as the name for a disease involving the discharge of excessive amounts of urine. Diabetes is first recorded in English, in the form diabete, in a medical text written around 1425.

and birds alone have an opaque, not clear urine. the "white part" of a birds dropping is urine, bird urine is a solid white, not a clear yellow.

i don't know if all others animals urine is yellowish, but all other animals urine is a clear fluid.

Humans don’t usually excrete uric acid-- it can accumulate if metabolic disorder
