I am familiar with the word epitaph (upon the tomb) as being an inscription at the burial place and a cenotaph (empty tomb) as being a memorial inscription at a place other than the place of burial but I encountered CARDIOTAPH today. It is an inscription at the location of the deceased's heart. The heart is usually in a jar of some type that has been taken to some sentimental site associated with the deceased. Anybody else know of this word ?.
