OP Here are some examples of "U and non U" usages:
Upper class - Middle class - Working class
Lavatory - Loo - Toilet
Pudding - Dessert - Sweet (or pudding)
House - Home - Home
Luncheon - Lunch - Dinner
Dinner - Supper - Tea (at home only)
Children - Kids - Sprogs
Frock - Dress - Dress
