No, because Candy recommended it, and she's born Kiwi and live
in Oz, and I thought those of you down under would recognize

Try 'Rabbit proof fence' thats a good one. Very sad but.

Have seen Rabbit Proof Fence. Very sad.
S & D is a story of two teens (about 19)
and the first 20 minutes of the movie shows them listening to
Aboriginal music and repeating the tedium of their lives while
doing their best to ignore each other. She cares for her
aged grandmother, he gets in trouble and sniffs petrol.
Circumstances throw them together into a city situation which
worsens their lot. She is molested, he is addicted. They go
back home worse than they left.
Very sad as well.

It was so depressing, when I first saw it, I wasn't sure if I liked it. Now I think its a 'must see' movie. Its a first for Aboriginal writer/producer.

which? it's hard to tell what you refer to in flat mode, without context.

Well, if it's a first it is very well done, and the producer
et.al., deserve acclaim.
