There are apparently three ways to delete a post, one in which it is entirely removed from the forum, one in which it is blank except for the word "Deleted" and finally one in which it is posted as totally blank

I am wondering if these there can be differentiated by having different appellations. Also I had puzzled over the last until at length I concluded that it is intended to puzzle the uninitiated unless he harbors feelings of guilt, in which case it is interpreted as a rebuke

Tsuwm is always a big help. ( His blank post contains white text)
Quote that post and you'll read unforgettable wisdom. \:\)

Three ways:

1)you can only remove a post entirely when yours is a last post and you stay within the limits of the editing-stretch of time.

2)As soon as your post is closed in by a follow up answer you can delete within the limited time, but it shows "Deleted".
(only Jackie can really remove it but that is a risky thing, as
has been proved.

3)A complete blank post is a post someone left wordless on purpose (or by accident). ( give it a point, Dale)
Which purpose is for you to guess. Those are like someone looking at you meaningfully , but your interpretation of this look might be way off track. Could be: \:\) or or

The big blank mystery

if you try to leave a "complete blank post", you will be informed that All of the required fields are not filled in. ; i.e., it can't be done.

I deleted my last post after posting this one; as you can see, there is no trace of it.
