"dogs letter"
This was a confusing one since I overlooked the single R.
Dictionaries put me on the right track again.
I was confused by the double meaning of "letter" and "letter".
(Dogs writing letters?)
The snake's letter is pretty obvious but what about the ant's letter, the toad's and the rabbit's letter? The lizard? The leopard?
