speaking of wanting the email address of an author (hi Milo), I wish I knew how to contact Margaret Sayers Peden, the translator of Arturo Perez-Reverte.

In Purity of Blood, she has:
"As for Gongora, that puerile asshole, that
proparoxytonic, euphistic [sic] versifier, that
dabbler in vortices, tricliniums, promptuaria, and
vacillating Icaruses, that shadow on the sun and
eructation of the wind... he is the last thing that
worries me now."

for "euphistic" I read "euphuistic" (artificially elegant) -- either a typo or a rendering of a different form in Spanish.

Marianna?
