Posts: 71 here then are the entries for eonism; choose one:
a) a religion asserting that the world was created at sunrise today (along with all the geological and cosmological evidence of fifteen billion years of evolution) [from Eos, dawn]
b) the desire to create words indicating one's leanings, including towards causes, personal beliefs, and certain activities, and ending such words with –ism
c) a cerebral bruise that causes a person to have a stone-like demeanor
d) the belief that world history changes at thousand-year intervals
e) the belief that staring at a video feedback loop, created by projecting a camera's live feed onto the monitor which that camera is focused on, is the secret to longevity (after Hofstadter)
f) the belief that studying the lessons of history will prevent their repetition
g) sectarian the practice of worshiping the dawn
h) the complete and/or perfect realization of a concept
i) the belief that the narration of the six days of creation in the Book of Genesis represent six eons rather than six, twenty-four hour periods
j) transvestism, esp. by a man
k) the belief that things will be better tomorrow_________________________
