Dr. Strangelove (DOK-tuhr STRAYNJ-luv) noun

A person, especially a military or government official, who advocates initiating nuclear warfare. Also called Strangelove.

[After a character in a movie of the same name (1963) by U.S. director Stanley Kubrick.]
