Mercy me, WW, what is it with you and these impossible antonyms of negatives lately? Here're a handful:
actuality, authentic, genuine article, bona fide, honest-to-goodness, the real McCoy.
By the way--may I ask for a poll re: the "proper" spelling of her word?

My spelling must be incorrect because I could find only a handful of dictionaries on Onelook with imposter, so-spelled.

What's the more usual spelling? I can't for the life of me remember it?

Edit: 97,500 Google hits for imposter, but I still can't remember the other spelling...

Well, Jackie, impostor gets more definitions on Onelook, so that must be the preferred spelling. And on Google it gets 114,000 hits over imposter's 97,500 hits. Close, but impostor wins.

I would have said "imposter" too but after looking it up I saw that the "-or" spelling is listed as the main entry and the "-er" spelling as a variant. All that time I was using "imposter" and it was an imposter.
