That's what we call 'Jazz'

All I'm going to say is that Britney Spears is quite popular. You judge for yourself.

Bill McLaughlin*, host of the NPR radio program Saint Paul Sunday, also discussed the use of "classical music." He allowed as how he couldn't really come up with a better term, and that the canon hi mav! is established mainly by those-who-determine-what-their-orchestras/choruses-will-play/sing-each-year worldwide.

So I guess we gotta include John Cage.

Well, it looked good to me but he seems to have a nextra G in it. It's McGlaughlin.

Have any of y'all heard that Britney Spears is Burning Spear's half sister?

Could it be the name has a trace of the Irish spelling!

These names suffer great indignities when manhandled by the Sassenach. See Maguire, McGwire, McWire, McGuire, etc.

" Maguire, McGwire, McWire, McGuire, etc."
Those spellings were self-inflicted. Of the many Sassenach crimes, this was not one.

What a fascinating introduction to this Message Board this thread has been! I have nothing to offer on the topic under discussion, except this:
The National Arts Center of Canada has made available for download in MP3 format Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C Major. I don't know whether it's Classical, Romantic, or just old, but it sounds nice. The link is
