Epicene: The use of the spear and mirror motifs is clever. But is it male chauvinism to have the spear on top, and the mirror handle on the bottom?

those were originally the Roman symbols for the gods Mars and Venus; putting them together on the same circle has been adopted for the transgendered, which makes it apposite for epicene.

And I always thought the Epicene was the geologic period between the time we left the forest for the plains and when the ice ages struck!

Faldage comments And I always thought the Epicene was the geologic period between the time we left the forest for the plains and when the ice ages struck!

No, no, you've got it completely wrong. It's actually the geological period between lunch and dinner ... the geological period during which you actually eat your din-dins is the epicure ... and the place you eat it is the epicentre.

And I forgot to mention: The geological period during which you wrangle over the bill is the epiphyte ...

"The geological period during which you wrangle over the bill is the epiphyte "

Not if you don't prolong the argument until moss grows on you.

Okay Bill, to make it more time specific, you could call it the epiphysticuffs. Epiphyiphyteen rounds only per meal.

Forget teeth! Diastema is really the lovely line of demarcation between a pair of luscious breasts. The diagram is just upside down, and the nipples were censored.
