..or your patience. I wish I had gone with DEVIATION above, instead of INVOCATED.

I've come up with 8 variations emanating from DEVALUATION (besides the obvious D --> R, that may not move us farther anyway) ... but all involve two-step maneuvers:

ADULATION ANTEDILUVIAN DEFALCATION DEVOLUTION DEVOTIONAL
INVALIDATE VALIDATION VALEDICTION ...

hope someone else is faring better ... ?????????
