Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good iPhone or iPad vocabulary building apps. I've found some, but they are not very advanced, more targeted at EAL, or test-taking like SAT and GRE level. I'm looking for something advanced, which has etymology and perhaps is themed, like the Merriam-Webster Vocabulary Builder books. I am also loathe to download many apps and try them just to find them not very good or not what I'm looking for. And I'm aware that many good apps are paid for, which I'm willing to do if the app is good.

Sorry; I still have a dumbphone: too cheap to pay the fees for a smart one.
