To Faldage: No, not a Pogophile, although i do remember reading them as a kid, so maybe i was influenced subconciously. Actually i was much more a snoopyphile as i loved all the Peanuts characters, especially Snoopy!

To Tsuwm: Thanks for all the info. You're right tho' as it does sound fairly complicated just reading through it! I'm still trying to figure out all the new lingo!

By the way, what does "spider" mean? Under "Who's Online" in the right hand column I know what 'registered' and 'guests' refers to, but the term 'spiders' has me stumped!

9hb,
it's actually a pretty easy two-step process; paring it down from the above gamage of verbiage:

1) Subscribing to a Topic
Enter the Topic and Select "Add Topic to your Watched Topics" option from the "Topic Options" dropdown. [this option can be found at the top of any thread]
2) Toggling the Default "EMail Watchedlist" Options
Select "My Preferences" from the "My Stuff" dropdown. From here you can manage the "By default should anything added to your Watch Lists be emailed to you?" option.

Its not really that bad 9beans....just look at the top of each page for drop down box TOPIC OPTION and make your choice laugh

But TS is right about plethora of emails....you can always change your mind and stop option anytime.

So...the purpose of having Watched Topics is to get an e-mail that they've been added to?
