funny but here we don't say 'lol' almost everyone I know says the letters themselves 'el-o-el'. May 'lol' is the continental pronunciation.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say 'lahl' or 'loll' - but then I don't hear LOL spoken very often. it's basically an online or text expression.

or, why say it when you can actually laugh out loud?!

Its become trendy down here for the kids to say'loll' or 'roffil'.
Usually associated with dry humour.
