I HAVe BEEN TRYING TO FIND THE TRUE NAME FOR THIS GROUP OF WORDS, THEY ARE ALL SIMULAR, THEY ALL HAVE TE SAME THING IN COMMON, IT IS NOT THE DOUBLE LETTERS, SOME HAVE 6 & SOME HAVE 7 LETTERS. THE WORDS ARE.
ASSESS
BANANA
POTATO
GRAMMER
DRESSER
UNEVEN
REVIVE
WHAT DO THEY ALL HAVE IN COMMON?
IF YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ARE CALLED, PLEASE TELL ME, I WILL POST THE SIMULARITY TOMORROW,
& IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER !
are there any more, that i can add to the list ?

WHAT ARE THE SIMULARITIES BETWEEN ALL THESE WORDS

its to do with being able to spell the word backwards, after moving the first letter to the end.

On a (slightly) related point...words spelled backwords and forwards making the same word are palindromes...my favourite of which is:
The Latin word square "Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas" (The farmer/sower, Arepo, sows the seeds)
It's remarkable for the fact that it reproduces itself if you form a word from the first letters, then the second letters etc. This means it can be arranged into a word square that reads in four different ways: horizontally and vertically from either top left to bottom right or bottom right to top left.

A R E P O
T E N E T
O P E R A
R O T A S

I'm not sure what the type that you used was but...I'll search for it!
