'Intersororal'. All knowing Google was stumped. Can the wordsmith help?

Sororal means 'by one's sister, on one's sister's side', what ever that means. Intersororal would then mean something like 'within a group of sisters'.

do not american universities have female clubs called sororities? Perhaps the word intersororal referes to something happening involving more than one such group.

There is also intrasororal 'amongst sisters/sorority members'. The flip sides are interfraternal and intrafraternal 'between etc.'.

I thought that inter- was between groups and intra- was within a group.
