BranShea do you really want to know the disappointing truth about your chances of winning a prize in this thread? Or, perhaps, the truth about your chances for winning a disappointing prize? Or, perhaps better still, a prize for disappointing?

a prize for disappointing?
laugh Yes please, can I have half the truth of it?
btw.Tom Stoppard, is that the man of The Shakespeare Adventure? Or was it Poseidon in Love?

ok, since I started this game, I'll end it, because it seems that feeling are being hurt, and that, of course, was never the intention.

I always try to use smileys with my gentle jabs, to show that we're all in this together. though I guess sometimes they don't read well.

I started this game, after some time-travel through the archives here, seeing a previous version, and thought it would be fun to do it again. the game has one Rule: all posts must be in the form of a question.

game over.

Should I have used smileys in my teasing comments?

No, the disappointer post was a one that really made me laugh. It sure was a good one. Is why I used the smiley I really like.
The half thruth was a comment on a Stoppard quote. Do you mind smileys? (They are horridly ugly but I like the laugher.) laugh See?
(but Morph's might have had one) The question mark was not so hard to guess, but some people (me too) often want to know the why of the why. Silly maybe, but...

Are smileys over-used?
