Wow! You have a recording of John Dowland (1563-1626) playing anything at all?! Oh! I heard a rendition of Lachrimae Pavan by Peo Kindgren playing his classical gat.

I was reminded of Mozart's Requiem and
also the movie Amadeus, where the anguish is emphasized
so well with the music in the background.
