I'm on one of my (usually futile) word hunts again. Mrs. Byrne gives this potentially useful word:

cacestogenous [adj.] caused by unfavorable home environment

as a direct result of this, the word has proliferated somewhat (399 ghits) on the 'net, but I've found no actual use of it in the wild, nor have I found it in any real dictionary.

as always with these, usage or etymology would be most helpful.

Liddel & Scott isn't much help. It does have kakestos (with an eta and an omega) meaning 'ill being'.

On a little curiosity trip, not finding a context for the word, I came across the entry called Sheet1. Too much for my taste but for real wordlerps maybe:
link real wordcrazers.

You're lucky the original Mr. Shrdlu doesn't sue you for copyright violation.

Actually, my bad. The letter in the Greek is epsilon.

Distributing faux Greek to the ignorant and alms to the poor.
Eta is the Basque separationists' movement.

actually, this is some help :: 'ill being' + -genous (-genic), ‘of or relating to origin or development (of the thing or a kind specified by the first element)’

makes it look like one of those inkhorn terms that someone formulated and then never used.
