Greetings--
Did a search on this, but could not find quite the right search terms to use.
Is there a term (and even better, a program on the Internet) for finding all the possible words that may be formed from a certain string of letters?
For example, if I want to discover all the possible English words that can be made out of the string "BOLMANDEAL" (DEAL, LAME MAN, MANE, MEAN, etc).

Okay, I found this game on the internet, but the word you get is random. If you play it and submit your words, it will list yours plus all the rest it has for that word. As far as I know, you can't make your own: http://www.wordplays.com/p/wiw In any case, you can play it! It's not easy, though... :0)

Wordsmith.org's very own Internet Anagram Server can do exactly what you describe. You must click on advanced to get the advanced options, and from there select the option "Show candidate word list only." The option to specify a minimum or maximum number of letters is very helpful. BOLMANDEAL yields a long string of results , and some amusing anagrams as well.

Some of the high scorers are entering words at a uniform rate of two per second, well over half of which are highly obscure. Obviously, people are copying words from the "Additional Answers" page, and back-buttoning back to the game. (I tried it, it works). Either that or a group of rouge Super Computers have been completing amongst themselves to be the Top Dog.
