What's happening!? the order of the topics is no longer by dates-- I'm seeing topics back from 2002 and 2001! no matter which section I try (Miscellany, Wordplay and Fun)... the topic on the top of the list are have no order whatsoever. And I didn't do anything, begad! Now I have to click "Show active [topics] in the last 2 days" to see the recent ones...  Did I cross a moderator?

Yikes!  This isn't happening to me, but I feel your pain, Logwood. Meanwhile, I've unilaterally decided AWAD needs a mascot and I think you should be it. Hmm, I'm somewhat reluctant to do that seeing to how many different forums I'm logged into. If nothing changes till tomorrow then I'll give that a shot. Thanks

You can edit your cookies.txt file by hand to remove all references to the domain wordsmith.org.
Ceci n'est pas un seing.

you can delete the cookies from within these forums itself.  go to "My Home", and delete them there.

Ah, I did not know that! thanks, but at any rate, I was about to post an hour or two ago but apparently forgot-- everything seems to be working fine now. Yes, odd. But I'm not gonna read too much into that. I'm just gonna go with "things that happens for no reason get fixed for no reason."
