I know the expression from my reading and realize I could've sent in a bogus daffynition but nothing suggested itself.  That said, I vote for C, and it's for me to know and y'all to find out whether I voted for the right answer or not.

Well, I don't know it and I d id send in a bogus daff in it ion. I vote for I, and if'n I'm vot ing for my own daff in it ion or not, well, " it's for me to know and y'all to f ind out" .

That brings to mind the time I waited until the eleventh hour to cast my vote. There was only one daffinition that had not been voted for. I voted for it and it happened to be the correct one! Stole tsumn's two points, just like that  Seems like no one has voted for one lonely daffinition in this round. Who wants it? Step right up, folks...
