According to NPR, you share a birth date with Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Weber. Somewhat fitting, ¿no?

Bonne Fête Insel !! Didja play hooky from work today? The beauty of being in sales is that you can magically have an appointment out of town on your birthday every year - HA!

If I had known it was your birthday, insel, I'd've wished you a good one in a New York second! And I think I still will! Hope your birthday was embellished with much inspired celebration!

A belated Happy Birthday, to you!
BTW, you share your birthday with illustrator Randolph Caldecott!
Born in Chester, England (1846). While he was working as a bank clerk in Manchester, Caldecott began drawing for local magazines. After making connections with other artists, he turned professional and moved to London, where he began drawing for the popular magazine Punch. He illustrated Washington Irving's Sketch Book (1875) and Bracebridge Hall (1876). But he's best remembered for his colored picture books for children, and for the medal for excellence in children's book illustration that bears his name.
