A couple hours ago, a member told me she wanted to use italics, but didn't know how. I didn't either, but I found out. In Yahoo Search box, I typed "html command intalics"
and up came several sites with information I could understand. So I found out how to put "Quibbler" into italics.A capital I is the command, and when enclosed in brackets with hooks the right way [ ]Quibbler[/ ] the slash is the tag to end the command. So if I had put an "I" into the brackets, I would get Quibbler
Here's one of the URLs I found. There are others found by same search words.

Edit: I just found out small "i" also works.

I don't think all html tags will work on the boards, but check here:
http://wordsmith.org/board/faq_english.pl?Cat=#html for those that do.

Details on how to use markup, and a whole lot else, are found in Jo's Helpful Hints, which are available here:
