RE:when I did a spell check on this, the computer gave me the suggestion of Honda to use instead of homosexuality...)

oh, was this your first meeting with Ænegma? she is rather interesting.. excellent speller (unlike me) but a very limited vocabulary- you'd think she would have learned a few words by now, but she hasn't. We love'r all the same...
(when Ænegma can't find a word, she suggest the closest word in her puny list...usually it has one or two of the first letter in common..)

PS- if you are interested in learning how to add Æ or any of the © features, send some one a PM.. Faldage is a master, (i cheat and just use charmap, he programs the code in!)

If you're using Windows, hold down the "Alt" key, and pres 0198 on the numeric keypad to get Æ. I use a much improved replacement for Windows feeble charmap to get those symbols easily. It's called mapochar, and is both small and free. If you want to try it it, it's available here:http://maxqnz.com/uploads/mapochar.zip

Æ

On Macs it's Option-' for the lower case æ and Option-" for upper case Æ.

On PCs it's ALT-0198 for Æ and ALT-0230 for lower case æ. The numbers have to be entered on the keypad on the right and not on the typewriter row across the top.

You can also do Æ and æ for Æ and æ respectively. These work on either type machine.

Aks shirley, I din't cover even PC's (x86 architecture), only Windows. I still haven't learned the codes for the special symbols in Linux, and must use a charmap type utility when I want to insert one if I'm in Linux.
