When the battle's lost or won

Why does Plutarch always wind up with all the best lines.

The early bird gets the worm, Worminstrel.

Some say "Fame is fleeting." But more often it is "fleet of foot".

Very well. Keep me advised of any Carpallosties, themgmt, however trivial.

I want to know everything as soon as Plutarch knows it.

[Aside to themgmt] I don't want to be rambling if there are any rumblings.

There's more at stake here than truth and justice, you know.

I understand, Wordminstrel. You have my word on it.

If Plutarch's delivery is faster than your own, it won't be the fault of the deliveryboy.

The only "edge" a gentlemen needs is the edge of his wits, themgmt.

That's the edge the olicarps have been avoiding.

Well, the game is up, themgmt.

We won't leave here until it's safe for any "Stranger" to visit here with dignity, paying due respect to all, but undue deference to none.

No cabal of Carpals will defeat us. I think you know that.

But we will listen to Grapho's "solution". He is only an "Addict" and he doesn't know the olicarpy as we know them. But we will listen to him.

As Plutarch says, we are men of peace. Warriors only if peace with honor fails.

Woe betide your adversaries, Wordminstrel.

They can hide but there's no place to run.
