Wikipedia: "Wiki Wiki" is a reduplication of "wiki", a Hawaiian-language word for fast. In Rarotongan Maori: Viviki, fast, or Taviviki, go fast. encyclopædia A comprehensive written compendium that contains information. wikipedia = a fast compendium. Citizendium I feel is too bulky a word for ease of use.
