I see now, thanks. The higher the number, the higher the difficulty, rarity, or 'snootidity'?

"indubitably" a word I have always loved hearing Daffy Duck say.

Back to your original post Jackie;
zmjezhd's mention of Wikipedia reminded me of this: Citizendium.

Wikipedia:
"Wiki Wiki" is a reduplication of "wiki", a Hawaiian-language word for fast. In Rarotongan Maori: Viviki, fast, or Taviviki, go fast.

encyclopædia
A comprehensive written compendium that contains information.

wikipedia = a fast compendium.

Citizendium I feel is too bulky a word for ease of use.

Yep, that's what I was referring to; thanks, eta.

yeah, but....olly,
the pedia part of encyclopedia is:
Etymology: Medieval Latin encyclopaedia course of general education, from Greek enkyklios + paideia education, child rearing, from paid-, pais child
(according to [url=
http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=encyclopedia]merriman webster[/url]
(the same root paid- (refering to child) is found in such words as pediatrian, or pediaphile)

so wikepedia is 'quick' (wiki) + paedia (education/child rearing)

the comprehensive part of the word is the encyclo--(encircling, entire, all round)

an encyclopaedia is a source for all round educational information. or comprehensive information.. (similar notion--but then words do shift in meaning/nuance) still we do talk about a having a well rounded education.
