It's Maddog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Teddy's been tellin' us about you and now you've come and joined us!

Maddog, I know you're dark and mean and all that, but it's very nice having you here since we've heard so much about you.

Will you please come to the Wordapalooza in Ireland along with Teddy?

I cannot watch my back because my neck is a bit too stiff, so please go easy on me.

Best regards,
WW

Dear Maddog

Sorry about that. I thought you were half mad-dog and half teddy which would make you a (kind of) pet. Now I see the error of me ways and you are all teddy and no mutt.

I watch me back all the time. You have to where I live but now you mention it I'll add Maddogs onto me list of potential assassins.

Yer tellin' me things are different that side of the Shannon. Apart from the hills, the sea and the fields there's always the wooly animals but you leave them alone. They're reserved for Capfka.

We'll rustle up an oul' mixed grill and a few pints of plain fer ye instead and no mistake.

Be seeing ye. And the first pint's on me.

And the first pint's on me.

Probably literally, if Teddy's that mad ...

Does this mean he might lant it?

Pre-lanted, most likely.

http://www.rte.ie/news/2000/0228/pets.html
will take you to a newspaper story about possible change to Irish laws regading bringing pets into the country.
Meanwhile there is a six month quarantine for dogs coming into Ireland.
I noticed in the story they talk just about Continent. No mention of USA or Canada et. al. Guess I'd have to fly to Europe with dog then enter UK from there....but still no chance for Ireland with a dog.
They really should change. Hawaii had a 90 day quarantine for many years, about five years ago changed it to 30 days. Recently, according to my son the Lt. Colonel, the state has allowed vets to set up quarantine facilities for pets. Much better than having a pet go to the state-run facility in Halawa Valley which is no fun for animals.
If you are shipping a pet to Hawaii - call ahead and book a vet! Mayhap JohnHawaii has more recent news?
After writing all this, I realized you are talking about people who live in Ireland bringing pets to Emerald WAPA .
Slow on the uptake. Sigh.
