Really sad, too, that so many languages are dying. But that
has probably been going on since the dawn of time.

Extinction: Sooner or later it happens to everyone.

Sad, but true. It is lamentable something cannot be done to
preserve these languages and the culture they represent,
but we cannot keep everything.

Ran into this quote today in another "word of the day"
email:

Tempus edax rerum. (Ovid) Time: the devourer of all things.

Sure, but time is also the primary ingredient of creation.
