I JUST saw that, Anna, and was coming here to ask what it is! That is, its significance to today.
COOL map!
(Ack--I had a heck of a time getting the yellow color to go away! I had the L inside the cues for blue but it still showed up yellow until I deleted that part and did it again. Then the word 'map' was yellow, and deleting didn't work--for the first time ever on this board, I had to use the cues for black!)
AUGH--the entire above paragraph first came out in yellow! I'll Cut all this and try the black cues again.
I assume it is Percival Lowell's birth date?
"Percival Lowell (1855-1916) is one of the best known observers of the planet Mars. Lowell Observatory is still one of the foremost sites for telescopic studies of Mars and the other planets." - Smithsonian
Or either that or the latest probe went successfully into orbit, one.
Ah, yes, Mr Percival "CanalsRUs" Lowell, I presume!
