My kids worked in study teams today to review introductory material to the Odyssey. Some of the answers to the quiz following study groups were very funny, and although we have a bit of confusion to straighten out, I don't mind. It's part of the process. Anyway, I hope you get a kick out of reading these as I did while checking papers:

"Pallas Athena was very large and luxurious. It showed how great she was."

"Homer, writer of the Odyssey, was known for his unmarkable similes."

"The most significant geographical feature of ancient Greece was its terrain that surrounded the islands."

"Pallas Athena is the goddess of wisdom and art of war and peace. She is the one who will run off with a man named Paris and abandon her husband Menelaus."

"Menelaus is the husband of Helen, and they had a son named Troy."

"800 B.C. is when Homer believed he was found."
