Jackie, I think I know why we have so much prattle posted here. Some folks think it's a bloody chat room!!

We've got your prattle
And we've got your tattle
We've got your fiddle
And we've got your faddle
When we stir the mess
Who would ever guess
We've got faddle prattle
And fiddle tattle.

We've got something here for everyone, snoot. Even nonsense, of which I might be the biggest purveyor. But, someone has to do it. :)

Someone has to do it

"A little nonsense now and then..."

Thanks for the poem, plutarch. Totally brightened my day, given my affinity for nonsense.

Oh i agree, gonold, a little nonesense now and then is wonderful.. It's like salt.. a little bit improves most things..

what i dislike is diet of pickled vegetables, pickled meat, salt preserved fruit for dessert, all served up with a salty consume broth for beverage.

Balance is essential, don't you think?

still if you are in the mood for non-sence, put pen to paper, and join in my thread devoted to limericks over in wordplay and fun (where non-sense is right at home!)

Balance, indeed...my mouth is dry just reading your post! (And I'm not sure if I dare join the limerick thread - not all that skilled, I'm afraid.)
