he was ugly, abusive
and very obtrusive
the Trojans went to their knees!

(its not much of a limerick, but you get the idea)

There once was a Greek called Thersites
Who shouted "Agamemnon fight? He's
Bamboozled us with tactics political.
How hypocritical! Call me thersitical,
But his head's bigger than God Almighty's."

Both you guys need to work on scansion.

Thersites was a Greek we recall
Not for his wit but his gall
He called his King greedy
And Achilles needy
Everafter such gall is "thersitical".
