Snurl is the answer to that problem.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure you are not running Windows. Click the My Computer menu, and then right click Drive C:. On the Menu select "Format".
OUCH!

Heh, the "page" reminds me of that e-mail thing that went around, where a customer calls Tech. Support. The tech. guy asks dozens of questions, most of which the customer doesn't know the answer to. Then he finds out the customer can't see whether the connectors are all where they should be because there's a power failure. The guy then asks whether the customer happens to have a big box on hand, and upon getting the answer yes, tells the customer to pack his computer in the box and mail it back to the company because he's too f***ing stupid to own a computer.
Format C: would wipe the C: drive (on most standard Windows installations, C drive is THE drive, where pretty much everything is)

sure, but I had in mind something like making one of the words of "here's another worthless site" into a hot link; most forums allow that sort of thing. just grumblin', loik.

Rest assured, you do not grumble alone. I wouild very much like to be able to do the same myself.
anyone ever mention(recently) to Mr. Garg that there are many other forum softwares available, even for no cost? most are able to reconfigure old databases so that old forums aren't lost.

all of 'em suck in one way or another. At least this software allows quick basic navigation and automatic marking of 'threads read' (unlike say unezee).
