I have converted it into "Shining the flashlight of metaphor on the footprints of purple prose," but I'd like to remember the original.

No answer yet. I've looked for a transcript of the press conference as has AnnaS with no luck. Whatever it was was worse than my so-called parody (the Harry Golden Rule in action).
