Not talking about sport of competitive play as in Monopoly or poker.
Rather :
Are you game - meaning are you ready to take on a task - full of fight.

".. on the game" - prostitution

Gamey - smell of rotten foodstuffs, usu meat.

Game- lame as in "a game leg."

How many are common to you, your neighborhood?
Do you use the word often, or at all?
Or can't you get your head "into the game."

The woods are full of game, big-game, which run with a game gait if they're nursing a leg injury, and which also, as carrion, become gamey...
and that's my best shot at the game game.

The word "game" can mean different things to different people. A couple jocks were out hunting, and met a bimbo in the woods. They said to her: "We're looking for game. Seen any?: She replied, "No, but I'm game!"
So they shot her.

That as bad as the one about the nerd (your choice of which kind, computer, engineering, etc.) who arrive at work with a new bike... when asked about it, he explains.
This tall, thin young woman, with a real large pair of breast, drove up to where i was standing, hopped off the bike, add took of all her clothes, and said "take any thing, anything you want.."

his friend replied, "good choice, doesn't sound like any of the clothes would have fit."

Thanks for starting a thread about words, wow.

Max, I'm wondering if there's any connection between "gammy" and "gams" (40s slang for legs)??
