To mean a mistake while writing something, we use `typo', but what is the word -- if there is anything -- to mean any mistake we make while reading something. (The kind of problem missing out word(s) to understand the text in a way different from what is actually written in it )

"misconstrue" is a formal word, but I cannot think of a handy short word.

There is the word "misread", but it may be more often used in the context of reading aloud.
