a plea, from Jo's excellent hints:It can be helpful if people quote a little of the post that they are replying to, to help flat-moders find out what is going on. As a staunch flatliner, I endorse that suggestion enthusiastically
I will endeavour to comply if those who are posting will also Reply to the post that they are replying to.
This goes double for Private Messages!
You can copy a bit from the post you are referring to and paste it at the top of a PM.
This is important because often PMs are sent long after a post is made and forgotten!
Recently, in the last week or so, I've received several Private Messages and had no clue as to the referrence ... and when I inquired of the sender, he/she had forgotten! So after a couple of back-and-forths we just decided to forget about it!
Frustrating.
Then too, there's the time differences which compounds the problem.
Or, given the trouble with regular Post replies, is this too much to ask?
Thoughts anyone?
