The word for May 10 is sando

Slang for a sandwich, usually store bought

As early as the '50's, the Japanese word for sandwich--and this is true--was sandoichi for which sando of course was the abbreviation

A sandoichi would be a number one sandwich, the best.
Um--'twasn't the word for here; Anu quit doing weekends a few years ago.

That reminds me of that big sinkhole in Texas on the news the last few days. The Spanish for May 5 is cinco de mayo, so they're calling it 'the sinkhole de mayo' since that's when it appeared.
Sinkhole, cinco de mayo, \:\) if you want to read an online funny short story:

funny story

Not your average fairy tale but it really serves to read it all.
