has any one looked at the May calendar?

what is with the 8th of may? and how about the day after the 12th?
Posted By: Jackie Re: is it me? - 05/02/07 03:37 PM
Hmm--for me, the 8th. lists a chat, and the day after the 12th. is listed as the 13th., and is blank like the rest of the days. What did you see?

You are right! What's wrong there? I think Jackie and tsuwm did not look. It 's quite bizarre.

We will have a blue gap day. Very exciting!

And Jackie , forget your agenda. there will be no 8-th this month.

we must be talkin' about different calendars!

-joe (no gaps) friday

here is what i see:

Note--No 8th of may, and a gap between 12th and 13th!
Posted By: BranShea Re: is it me? - 05/02/07 06:33 PM
No, look a the right here. Does that look like a regular calendar to you?
Or do you not have the column at the right ?

Yes, Helen . I see it too. It's an abomination!
Posted By: tsuwm Re: is it me? - 05/02/07 06:41 PM
oh. try clicking the Calendar link at the top the page instead. that's what we looked at.

in my choice of stylesheet (GooG) I don't see the little calendar off to the side.
Posted By: BranShea Re: is it me? - 05/02/07 06:52 PM
Tsuwm, I have the Goog stylesheet and when I click that calendar link I still see that interesting weird calendar down right.
It's just funny.

Very odd. I use GooG too and both calendars, the one to the right and the link at the top, look perfectly normal.
Posted By: tsuwm Re: is it me? - 05/02/07 07:44 PM
I changed to infopop style, clicked on top Calendar, and now I have a large, normal calendar with a small, abnormal one to the right.

<shrug>

edit: could be a browser issue; it seems that IE has problems with
this (small) calendar.

The "theblues" stylesheet has the deflexion too. Ah,well...

both fine here, on Safari.

I was thinking that, too, but I believe Jackie uses IE and said she sees no problem. Fine here also on Firefox.

then there are versions of IE..
(I use IE7 and see the problem with that; everything Mozilla-based seems fine.)

Speaking of seeing different things: when, up top, I click on Forums, I see all of them. When I click on General Topics, I only get the list down to Looking for (writers, speakers, ...). Is it that way for anyone else?

at the bottom of those you should see:
(Old) Weekly themes. (have been consolidated into a single forum above)
with a little arrow to the right; click on the arrow.

No--when I click on General Topics, the screen (the sinister side, anyway) is blank from 'Looking for (writers, speakers, ...)' down to the bar that starts with 'Mark all read'.

You and the lion?

1. Large gregarious predatory feline of Africa and India having a tawny coat with a shaggy mane in the male.

2. A celebrity who is lionized (much sought after).

Nicest word of the day by the way: gregarious. Never seen that one before.
