Hi all,
Todays word 'Bling bling' also stems from the onomatopoeic rendition used in cartoons when denoting shining or sparkling ornaments. Much like 'KAPOW' & 'CRASH' are used to indicate sounds.
my 2 cents worth.

Thanks, olly, and welcome aBoard. The more Aotearoans (sp?), the better!

My good friend Max Q told me about the Land of the Long White Cloud, and the fish, and Stewart Island; and my good friend Capital Kiwi told me lots more details, too. You guys are the best!

Indeed. We're such a bighearted lot on this board we're even prepared to welcome Aucklanders. I mean, who knows, maybe it's not their fault they live there.

Originally from your town. I don't think there are any true Aucklanders except for Helen.
