Hi all,

I thought perhaps somebody here could help me.

I want to send a song to somebody via e-mail, but don't know how.

Are songs to heavy to send via e-mail? How does one do so?

Well, it depends on a few things.

1. What kind of file is the song? MP3, PDF (of the score), MIDI?

2. How big is the file?

3. Does your ISP allow this huge an attachment in outgoing email?

4. Does the recipient's ISP allow this large a file in their incoming email?

Well, there's something to be said about closing your eyes, blocking your nose, taking a running leap and jumping...

I simply put the file as an attachment on the e-mail and pressed send.

The recipient got it and was able to open it A-o.k.

I was able to answer your first two questions zmj but not the last two, so I figured there was only one quick way to find out.

Well you could also use gmail for bigget storage if you have previously used hotmail. Also you could use WinRAR to archive it into smaller files if it is too large. Or get yourselves hooked up with FtP software.
