"I'm shakin' it, boss!"

I've thrown this line away a couple of times here. what is the cultural 'icon' behind it?

Back in the castle thread, I ran into use of "boss" to mean "keystone" in an arch. So when the boss tells you to "shake a leg", remember he is above you.
