If I could have a conversation with you, I'd state my wish that you had gone from COOLLY to another similar word, that'd have given us more immediate options, and I'd assure you that I wasn't speaking
COLDLY ..as I am hard-pressed to see a way out of COLLOQUY, as nice a word as it is. Had you done so, we might have traveled on (and maybe with?) a DOLLY, or gone where none has gone before ...
If the QU can be added as one letter, I am assuming it
can be replaced in the same manner.
Wising I was a Cool Hand.
I think you can courageously eat 50 eggs, Luke ..therefore, you're a Cool Hand ...and you can prove it by replacing 'QU' with one letter

this happens here. Good luck to whomever.

Why don't you two take your jibberish to a new thread.
Just go up to "Forum List", start a new thread under
fun. This thread has a purpose, please stick to it.
I went all the way back to the beginning. "Anagrams" was quite different then. Seems it changed over time. Terribly sorry ol' chap.
I apologize to all the people I've kept away with my jibberish.
To Anu, friends and family...Thanks for the opportunity to learn new words, new ways to see them and use them.
Best wishes
I have to admire you going all the way back. I've only been
here since '08, and it has not changed much since then.
But you are right, it is a very great way to learn about words.
My problem is that I felt 'cut out' since I had no idea
what you all were talking about. I apologize for my irritation
and selfishness.
I didn't have to go back ...I immediately recalled JJ's departure & thought now I know how she must've felt. It's not pleasant.
But, as a child I was told something I've also not forgotten ..don't stay where you're not wanted. I enjoy May's contributions, admire her perception & wit, as well as her kindness.
In the words of Patrick McGoohan as #6 in The Prisoner, Be seeing you.
This all seems too silly for words, however; I used to have extreme anxiety over communication. Now, I just experience anxiety. For me, I enjoy an artistic display of communication that allows for alternate interpretations. I like to explore worlds other than my own...thoughts and patterns. That's about the best I can do.

Endy, like a child, took his ball and ran home. I hope
not. But it is all too silly for words when we should
be acting like adults, and not be so thin skinned and
personalize any criticism.

I see a vast silence - this is not a CHANGE i was expecting to find after a week AFK. Can someone enlighten me?
It's just you and me. You can go back to the previous
page and read the conversations or lack thereof.
I tire of the mumbo-jumbo the other two had with each
other, which left me out, as I did not know what they
were talking about. They both took it thin-skinned
and despite my apology, disappeared.

Did not miss you at all. I am not thin skinned or

I'd prefer "each other's jibes" be kept within, or at worst overlooked entirely. As in turn the other cheek.
There are few enough of us left that we can't afford to chase each other away. Ill will benefits no one.
