Oh, yay! Mine's in, weak though it is. But if it turns out everyone else is as know-it-all smart as Candy, I won't mind it not getting used. wink

So I delivered a fresh definition that I know will immediately be noticed by Candy as a fake. How sad.. frown ........ laugh

But if I like it ...I may be persuaded to jump ship!

Of course I could look it up but does this mean you jump on ship or off ship?
Posted By: Candy Re: jumping on or off a ship? - 01/22/12 03:37 AM
Well....its both Bran crazy

You are on a ship, then you jump off that ship before it finishes its trip, and sign on a different (usually rival company) ship!

meaning >>>> change sides.

I hope the editors are busy editing. We wait for waught!
Posted By: Candy Re: jumping on or off a ship? - 01/27/12 11:31 PM

Posted By: Jackie Re: jumping on or off a ship? - 01/28/12 04:44 AM
I wrote to him last night, saying I hoped everything was okay. If he doesn't post here or reply by tomorrow, I may call him. [concern e]

RELIEF! It's only his computer that's in the hospital; reckon he'll be back when it's fixed.
Posted By: Candy hogmaster - 02/03/12 10:29 AM
thats good news Jackie...and we are patient folk here smile
Posted By: Faldage Re: hogmaster - 02/03/12 11:59 AM
Plus it gives us plenty of chances for us each to forget what our respective definitions were.
Posted By: BranShea Re: hogmaster - 02/03/12 08:50 PM
You'r very right Faldage, unless I would look it up (won't) I wouldn't recognize it when I saw it. Only thing I remember it was good!
Posted By: Faldage Re: hogmaster - 02/03/12 10:25 PM
I'll make sure to vote for it, then.
Posted By: Candy Re: hogmaster - 02/04/12 12:25 AM
I just checked out the daffy I sent...it still looks good too!
